Local author Yvonne McChristian will be having a Book Signing at the Shelbyville-Bedford County Public Library on Saturday, December 27th from 1 - 4 pm. Yvonne is the author of Storms of Life: A Journey of Perseverance, Love, Hope & Healing. Join us for an opportunity to support a local author and take home an inspirational read.

About the Author:
Yvonne McChristian is an 80-year-old first time author. She was raised in Wartrace, TN, is the 6th child from a family of 14 and sadly learned the hardships of death early in life after losing her mother at age 9. She and William were married for 62 years but were together for 65 with him as her high school sweetheart. They have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. She resides in Shelbyville, TN and has been a writer her entire life. Along with writing poems, she was also a playwright for company plays and enjoys writing fun stories for gatherings. When she is not writing, she teaches Senior Line Dancing, participates and travels with her local bowling league, and played basketball in the Senior Olympics. Lastly, she spent many years in the red clay dirt playing shortstop and batting clean-up and only a few years ago hung up her All-Star softball cleats. She comes from a singing family and gives all her glory to God.
